As the Age of Legend drew to a close, the Starstone—a massive meteor—crashed into Golarion, an event known as Earthfall. This cataclysm sank the continent of Azlant, beginning the Age of Darkness and leaving only scattered islands and submerged ruins as evidence of its former glory.
